A+ product pages / DECISION GUIDE
Which A+ modules can you reuse across different SKUs?
Reuse an A+ module only when its visible product information and wording remain true for every destination SKU. A common brand style can travel further than a specification, accessory list or product photograph. Make a manual reuse record that identifies the shared content, the variable facts and the exact SKUs approved for the exported asset.
Classify what is actually shared
Suppose a brand sells two lunch containers. They share a visual identity but have different capacities, divider arrangements and lid mechanisms. A brief statement about the brand’s documented design priorities may apply to both. An image of the removable divider or a capacity graphic may not. Being part of one collection does not establish the same construction.
Separate a reusable layout from reusable content. You may keep the same heading hierarchy, typography direction and section rhythm while replacing the product photo and facts. Copying a finished raster module transfers everything visible in it, including small measurements, components and background props. A new filename does not remove those dependencies.
Create a module eligibility record
| Module information | Reuse condition | Change that invalidates reuse |
|---|---|---|
| Documented brand purpose | Same brand scope and approved wording | New unsupported history or claim |
| Material detail | Same actual material and finish | Different coating or construction |
| Capacity or dimensions | Exact same verified specification | Different size or measurement method |
| Included accessories | Same current pack-out | Another cable, divider or kit |
| Usage instructions | Same documented procedure | Different mechanism or care requirement |
Keep this record in your own content process. List the approved destination SKUs and the source of each shared fact. It is not an automatic Itemlume inheritance rule or a store synchronization setting.
Inspect the visual dependencies as well as the copy
A shared headline may be accurate while the image underneath shows the wrong lid. Look for the product edition, color, component count and context. A module that shows a charging adapter beside one electronic SKU cannot migrate to a second SKU merely because the wording says “designed for everyday use.” The photograph itself communicates information.
Review alternative text and nearby destination text too. A copied description may identify the old model even when the visible image has been updated. Keep these fields with the content record so a migration is reviewed as a whole. Do not present the external checklist as a feature that Itemlume automatically fills out or validates.
Regenerate only the SKU-specific candidate
In A+ content, select the modules that need a new visual, upload the exact product evidence and provide its verified facts. Use the established presentation direction to keep the family recognizable. If the complete page changes, inspect how the revised section interacts with the rest of the sequence rather than replacing one image blindly.
The Amazon A+ design guide describes content built from destination modules. Itemlume’s exported concept is not an already published Amazon module: you still prepare the appropriate assets and submit them through your own destination workflow. Reuse does not bypass that destination’s review.
Test the reused module against the receiving SKU
For the illustrative containers, review the candidate on each destination independently. Ask whether a buyer could correctly identify capacity, supplied divider and opening method without needing to ignore part of the module. If the answer differs by SKU, the module needs a variant or a narrower shared message.
Record a review date and content owner so a later product revision triggers a targeted check. The divider module may become invalid while the brand-purpose module remains valid. Do not retire or regenerate the entire family automatically; trace the changed fact to the affected assets. Useful reuse reduces repeated design work while keeping product-specific evidence attached to the right item.

Frequently asked questions
Can I reuse the same brand-story module for every product?
Only if its statements, visuals and scope remain accurate for every receiving product and meet the destination’s current rules.
Is reusing a layout the same as reusing an exported image?
No. A layout can be shared while its photographs and facts change. A finished image carries all of its visible SKU-specific information.
Does Itemlume automatically propagate modules across SKUs?
No. Maintain the eligibility record, prepare destination assets and publish updates in your own content workflow.
