A+ product pages / DECISION GUIDE
How should A+ content distinguish included accessories from optional extras?
Show included accessories from the current pack-out record, and keep optional extras and demonstration props visibly separate. A lifestyle image can make a nearby cable, stand or case look included even when no caption says so. Review the wording and the picture together so the buyer can tell what the purchase actually contains.
Use the shipping configuration as the starting point
Imagine headphones sold with a charging cable but without the display stand shown in a campaign scene. Start with the current package contents, not with that attractive scene. Record the exact headphone edition, cable type, included case if any and quantity of each supplied part. Verify the list against current stock or an authoritative supplier record.
Keep bundle editions separate. A promotional kit with a case is a different inclusion statement from the standard version, even if both share a product name. The content owner should know which edition the A+ asset describes. Do not ask generation to decide which accessories a product category normally includes.
Sort every visible object into a clear class
| Class | Example | What the content must establish |
|---|---|---|
| Included part | Confirmed charging cable | Correct type and quantity in this purchase |
| Optional compatible accessory | Separately sold stand | Separate purchase and verified relationship |
| Demonstration prop | Desk or styling book | Context without implying inclusion |
| Unconfirmed object | Unidentified adapter | Remove until its status is established |
Avoid placing every class in one equally emphasized group. An image labeled “your setup” can blur the difference between pack contents and a possible arrangement. Use a straightforward inclusion view for supplied parts and a separate contextual view when optional objects genuinely explain use.
Write the qualification where the uncertainty arises
If a usage image needs a separately purchased accessory, place the relevant clarification next to that explanation in the destination’s permitted form. Do not make readers hunt through a distant paragraph to discover that the impressive setup is incomplete at purchase. Likewise, “compatible accessories” should not become a claim about an unverified third-party item.
Keep the qualifications factual and narrow. “Stand shown for display; not included” resolves a different question from “stand compatible with this model.” The first does not prove the second. Verify compatibility independently when it is part of the message. A visual resemblance or shared connector shape is not sufficient evidence.
Prepare an inspectable A+ accessories candidate
Use the Included accessories role in A+ content with photographs or documented references for the actual supplied parts. Provide the verified list and quantities. Inspect the generated count, proportions and attachment details. If exact captions cannot be reviewed confidently, prepare those in an external layout rather than allowing plausible small text to serve as the package record.
The Shopify product-page guide treats useful product information and related recommendations as distinct parts of the page. Apply that distinction to your own creative: explaining the bought item and suggesting another purchase are different jobs. Itemlume does not check stock contents or attach optional items to a store cart.
Reconcile the final visual with the actual listing
For the hypothetical headphones, compare the accessory image with the main listing, variant selector and current contents statement. Ensure that a campaign case has not migrated into the standard edition. Open the exported image at full size to inspect any small included/not-included caption, then view the destination normally to check whether that distinction remains visible.
For Amazon, consult the current A+ design guidance before adding offers or purchase information. Keep this module focused on accurate product contents rather than an unsupported promotion. Save the approved pack-out revision with the asset. When the supplier changes a cable or removes a part, revisit the affected image and copy together instead of treating the old module as evergreen.

Frequently asked questions
Should every prop have a not-included caption?
Choose a composition that avoids ambiguity first. Add clear, destination-appropriate clarification where an object could reasonably be mistaken for supplied equipment.
Can I show a compatible accessory that is sold separately?
Use a separate, accurately qualified context and verify the claimed compatibility. Follow the destination’s current content rules.
Does Itemlume know what is inside my product box?
No. Supply the current verified contents and inspect the generated depiction, quantities and wording.
