Virtual try-on / PRACTICAL GUIDE

How to choose a model and scene that keep the garment central

Choose the model for the intended audience and the scene for the garment’s real use. Keep the item’s construction visible. A scene should add context without changing the garment, and a generated model should not be presented as proof of a specific shopper’s fit.

01 / HOW TO CHOOSE A MODEL AND SCENE THAT KEEP THE GARMENT CENTRAL

Define what the viewer needs to see

A coat may need a full view to explain length and a closer view to show the fastening. A patterned shirt may need a quieter background so its print remains readable. Start with that information need rather than choosing the most dramatic scene.

If you only need a product-focused reference, do not force a person into the image. When a model is appropriate, choose a reference whose age, appearance and visual tone suit the garment and campaign. The official library includes different ages and skin tones; do not assume that one model represents every customer.

02 / HOW TO CHOOSE A MODEL AND SCENE THAT KEEP THE GARMENT CENTRAL

Use a scene for a specific reason

Scene directionUseful contextRisk to check
StudioClear silhouette and constructionOverly rigid pose hides fit cues
Street or caféEveryday stylingBackground distracts from the item
HomeComfort or ordinary useFurniture hides the hem or sleeves
Beach or grasslandSeasonal setting when relevantLighting changes apparent garment color
GalleryA restrained editorial settingPose and props obscure construction

The workbench includes preset scenes and a custom scene option. Explain the relevant setting with concrete details rather than asking for an unrelated cinematic location.

03 / HOW TO CHOOSE A MODEL AND SCENE THAT KEEP THE GARMENT CENTRAL

Keep identity and styling as separate choices

Select a saved model to guide appearance. Describe pose and styling in the garment requirements. Reusing a model reference does not guarantee the same expression, body position or perfect identity in every output, so inspect the new result.

  1. Approve one clean garment view first.
  2. Reuse the same garment and model for the next scene.
  3. Change one scene choice at a time.
  4. Compare clothing color, details and visibility as well as the person.

If a pose hides the garment, simplify it. For children in the official library, use ordinary age-appropriate clothing and family-oriented presentation. The personal model generation and upload workflow is intended for adults.

04 / HOW TO CHOOSE A MODEL AND SCENE THAT KEEP THE GARMENT CENTRAL

Review on-model imagery as merchandising

Does the image help a buyer understand the actual item? Check neckline, hem, sleeves, closures and any areas partly concealed by the pose. A styled image may complement a clear product photo, but it should not be the only evidence of what the customer is buying.

Keep sizing and fit information in verified measurements, product descriptions and your normal customer guidance. AI imagery is not an individualized fitting result. When you publish a collection, make sure the creative variety does not introduce inconsistent fabric, accessory bundles or garment variants between images.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Frequently asked questions

Should I use the same model for an entire collection?

It can help visual continuity. Reuse the same reference and review each result; consistency is guided rather than guaranteed.

Can a lifestyle scene replace a clear garment view?

Use it as context. Keep at least one clear view that shows the garment’s construction and exact variant.

Can I use official child models for kidswear?

Use ordinary age-appropriate apparel and family-oriented contexts. Personal model creation and upload are intended for adults.
