PRODUCT CREATIVE / PRODUCTION AND HANDOFF
Should I Use Creatify Quick Edit or the Multi-Track Editor for My Product-Ad Revision?
First locate the editable project, then name the change. Creatify lists avatar, voice, music, captions and aspect ratio in Quick edit, and describes its multi-track web editor as offering more control before rendering. Rendering produces an output file. Having that exported file alone does not establish access to the original project's voice, avatar or track controls.
Name the change at the correct level
“Update the ad” is too broad to choose a tool. Replacing the narration voice, changing a music choice and moving several clips into a new sequence are different production requests. Identify whether the merchandise itself is correct before spending time adjusting presentation settings.
The official article is dated 8 February 2025 and explicitly places multi-track editing before rendering. Open the originating project and inspect the controls available there. If only an exported video remains, preserve it and establish what source project or media is available before promising the same edit. The article does not document an import route that restores all original controls from an export.
Creatify lists the Quick edit settings and places multi-track editing before rendering. See Creatify's generated-video editing help.
Separate settings, structure and source defects
For a listed setting change, inspect Quick edit first. For a structural change that needs finer control, assess the full web editor. If the generated bottle has the wrong cap, neither route name establishes that changing the voice will repair it; identify whether a corrected source or another production step is required.
Write what must stay unchanged beside the edit request. A voice revision can alter pacing; an aspect-ratio change can affect composition. These consequences should be checked in the resulting file, without assuming that the selected route automatically preserves every approved detail.
| Observed need | Route to assess | Acceptance focus |
|---|---|---|
| Change a listed voice or music setting | Quick edit | Correct choice and usable final timing |
| Reorganize the ad with finer track control | Full web editor | Actual sequence and required controls |
| Repair an incorrect product in a source shot | Source correction or appropriate generation workflow | Correct merchandise, not merely changed presentation |
Illustrative exercise: one approved ad, two revision requests
This illustrative exercise was not executed in Creatify. A fictional seller retains both the editable lamp-ad project and its approved export. Request A changes the narration voice while preserving the product footage. The editor opens the project, assesses Quick edit, and checks revised delivery and sentence endings against the footage. The approved export serves as a comparison copy.
Request B asks to rearrange the demonstration and ending. That is a structural decision, so the editor assesses the multi-track workflow and records whether the needed operations are available. They retain the original export for comparison rather than pretending that both requests are the same kind of one-click adjustment.
If either request reveals a lamp control that does not exist on the real item, the team separately addresses that source defect. A polished caption or new soundtrack does not approve inaccurate merchandise.
Review the consequences of the chosen edit
Keep the original approved file, requested difference and revised output identifiable. For a voice change, listen at normal speed and inspect any captions or shot timing that depend on the recording. For a layout change, check product visibility in the actual new frame.
Record whether the request was completed with the intended editing route and whether further source work remains. This is an editorial decision guide based on documented routes, not a claim of account execution, unlimited revisions or guaranteed output quality.
After a voice revision, check narration against the demonstration's visible timing. See Review product-video voiceover and demonstration timing.
Illustrative ad-revision route worksheet
These are illustrative exercise rows. Save a copy and record your own observations; the example is not an executed acceptance test.
| Exercise | Requested difference | Preserve | Route to assess | Review |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A: narration revision | Different approved voice | Correct lamp footage | Quick edit | Listen and inspect timing-dependent elements |
| B: sequence revision | Different demonstration order | Correct product sources | Multi-track web editor | Review sequence, cuts and final meaning |

Frequently asked questions
Does changing the voice mean I must regenerate the product footage?
Not automatically. The help lists voice within Quick edit. Assess that route for the project and review timing; a separate footage defect requires its own decision.
Does “multi-track editor” prove that any requested effect is available?
No. It indicates a route for more control. Verify the specific operation and project before promising an edit.
Can I use the same Quick edit controls if I have only an exported video?
The cited help does not establish that. First find the originating project or assess the source media and actual editing options available. An export alone does not prove that the original voice, avatar and track controls can be recovered.
