Virtual try-on / QUESTION GUIDE
How do you show adjustable straps without changing the garment?
Use real references for strap routing and the adjustment state you want shown. A generator can move a slider, erase a strap return or invent an adjustment range. Show one documented state and keep any range claim in verified product information; a worn image cannot establish all possible adjustments.
Record the strap path
Photograph the actual strap, attachment points, slider and returned end. Identify which part moves and which is fixed. If the routing is hidden by hair or fabric, obtain an unobstructed detail view. Do not infer the mechanism from the silhouette of a worn garment.
For an illustrative apron, the neck strap may pass through a buckle and return along the same side. A generated single continuous band can look neat while removing the actual adjustment construction.
Specify a documented state
| Feature | Reference | Review |
|---|---|---|
| Attachment | Actual stitch or hardware | Same location retained |
| Slider | Clear close-up | Not replaced by decoration |
| Returned strap | Routing photograph | End does not disappear |
| Chosen length | Actual worn or measured state | No invented range claim |
Do not use a model’s apparent body fit to establish minimum or maximum strap length. Product measurements and real adjustment evidence answer that question.
Request a view with visible hardware
In Virtual try-on, provide the garment source and explain the selected strap state. Choose a pose and hair arrangement that leave the relevant area inspectable. Avoid complex movement if the hardware is the reason for the image. Review both attachments before judging the overall fashion presentation.
If the system cannot maintain the routing, use an actual detail photograph alongside a simpler worn view. Itemlume does not verify adjustment mechanics or provide a size-fit simulation.
Approve the explanation independently
Check any caption about adjustability with the product owner. A visible slider can support an explanation of the actual construction, but it does not prove comfort, load capacity or every body fit. Keep the exact detail photo linked to the released worn image.
Use closure-state review for hardware and fit-evidence boundaries for model presentation. End with a documented state, not an inferred adjustment promise.

Frequently asked questions
Can a worn image prove the adjustment range?
No. Use measured product and mechanism evidence.
What if hair hides the slider?
Choose a clearer pose or supply an actual detail image.
Can AI simplify the routing?
Reject simplification that changes the real construction.
