Virtual try-on / QUESTION GUIDE
How do you check embroidered lettering in AI fashion imagery?
Review embroidery as both wording and construction. The letters must match the approved mark, and the stitched surface must remain consistent with the real garment. A flat printed logo, embossed patch and thread embroidery are different features even when they spell the same name.
Obtain a real stitched close-up
Photograph the actual embroidery under light that shows its shape without extreme glare. Record the wording, placement, border and thread-color relationship. Keep authorized artwork for spelling, but do not use a flat logo file as proof of stitch structure.
For an illustrative polo shirt, a raised chest mark may have a visible backing or edge. Do not let a generated embroidered badge become a separate metal pin merely because both appear dimensional.
Review three independent relationships
| Relationship | Reference | Reject when |
|---|---|---|
| Letters | Approved text and real close-up | Name or character changes |
| Placement | Actual garment landmarks | Mark moves across seam |
| Surface | Thread and border photo | Embroidery becomes print or metal |
If the mark becomes too small in a worn view, add an actual detail image. Invented enlargement can alter the relationship between the embroidery and the garment.
Generate a worn view with inspectable placement
In Virtual try-on, provide the garment photographs and state that the stitched mark belongs to the item. Choose a pose that keeps it visible. Compare the output at both normal display size and a useful close-up. Avoid relying on the generator to reproduce tiny characters exactly.
Precise mark restoration may need an external editor and actual source pixels. Itemlume does not provide an embroidery digitization file, stitching simulation or guaranteed exact garment lettering.
Approve detail and overall image together
Check that the detail photograph and worn candidate show the same revision, thread colors and position. A newer brand mark on an old garment source should not be added without a real product revision. Keep the embroidery approval linked to the garment SKU.
Use pattern review for surrounding fabric and exact lettering principles for text comparison. Release only a representation that preserves what the buyer actually receives.
