Packaging studio / DECISION CHECK
Can I actually buy the cap, window and closure shown in my AI packaging mockup?
Treat every visible component as a proposed part until a supplier confirms it. AI can draw a convincing cap, window or closure without establishing that it exists, fits the container or can be sourced in your quantity. Approve the bill of components separately from the appearance.
Inventory the parts implied by the render
List the container, cap, pump, insert, liner, window, seal and decorative finish that the concept appears to require. Identify which are already real stock components and which were introduced by the render. For a fictional gift bottle, a distinctive gold dispensing top can become the main procurement risk even when the label itself is easy to print.
Pacdora’s AI mockup page describes appearance-generation capabilities. A mockup tool’s attractive output is not independent evidence of manufacturer availability. Keep catalog references or actual supplier samples for each proposed component instead of relying on visual plausibility.
Make a procurement evidence table
| Component | Evidence needed | Open decision |
|---|---|---|
| Closure or pump | Actual part reference and fit confirmation | Compatible with container? |
| Window or insert | Supplier construction and material | Available in intended quantity? |
| Decorative finish | Process and sample | Cost and repeatability acceptable? |
| Seal or liner | Relevant supplier specification | Suitable for intended use? |
| Assembly | Actual combined sample | Parts work together? |
This table is a manual handoff, not a manufacturing certificate. Product-contact suitability, testing and mandatory requirements need their own qualified review for the actual product and market.
Revise against available parts
Send the component list and labeled concept to the supplier through your normal authorized process. Ask them to distinguish confirmed parts, substitutions and unresolved items. If the unique cap cannot be sourced, revise the concept around a confirmed closure. Do not let an attractive render force a late untested substitution that changes the customer’s use experience.
Close the physical assembly
Review a combined sample, not only individual catalog pictures. Check the closure, label placement, opening and reassembly against the approved intent. Record the component versions and supplier approval. Itemlume Packaging studio generates concepts; it does not place procurement orders, certify component fit or validate manufacturing availability. The final approval should name the real assembly that will be produced.

Frequently asked questions
Does a photorealistic cap prove availability?
No. Request a real part reference and supplier confirmation.
Are individually available parts enough?
Confirm the combined assembly and compatibility too.
Can I label the AI render production approved?
Only a separate actual supplier and sample approval can establish the relevant production decision.
