PRODUCT CREATIVE / PRODUCTION AND HANDOFF
I Selected Several Products in Pebblely. Why Did I Get Separate Photos Rather Than a Gift-Set Scene?
Selecting several products and choosing Generate selected starts Pebblely's bulk workflow. It does not mean those products will appear together in one scene. To combine products into a single composition, select Group shot on the generation screen, which supports up to five products in one scene.
Decide Whether You Need Separate Files or One Composition
Bulk generation and Group shot solve different production problems. Bulk generation processes selected products for separate image outputs, while Group shot brings multiple selected products into one generated scene.
For a catalog containing individual product listings, separate images may be exactly what the merchant needs. For a gift-set advertisement, however, separate files do not establish that the products were composed together.
Before generating, write down the intended output scope: one product per asset or several products in one asset.
Decision branch: If each SKU needs its own listing image, use the bulk workflow. If the advertisement needs a combined scene, choose Group shot rather than assuming multiple checkboxes create a group composition.
Follow the Current Pebblely Workflow
In the current documented bulk workflow, select product checkboxes and choose Generate selected. The Create action shows a result count before creation.
For a combined composition, use Group shot on the generation screen. The current documentation supports grouping up to five products into one scene, using either Templates or Custom.
This differs from Pebblely's older tutorial about manually arranging multiple assets on a canvas. That 2023 tutorial is explicitly marked outdated.
Use the current Group shot instructions as the starting point. Do not follow obsolete Assets interactions merely because an older tutorial describes a similar visual goal.
The documented product limit is not a guarantee that every generated image will reproduce each item perfectly.
Illustrative Exercise: Two Merchant Requests
Illustrative exercise — fictional production requests, not executed Pebblely generations.
Input A contains three SKUs requiring individual listing photographs. Each final file should represent its assigned product, so the bulk workflow matches the intended output structure.
Input B contains three distinct approved products sold together as a gift set. The required deliverable is one composition containing all three items, making Group shot the appropriate workflow to evaluate.
Decision branch: For A, review each generated asset against its assigned SKU. For B, inspect the combined composition and verify that its visible product membership matches the approved set.
Do not confuse selecting three inputs with guaranteeing three accurate objects in every resulting scene.
Confirm Output Scope Before Spending
Before creation, record the selected products, intended output type, and expected product membership per file. Check the displayed result count without assuming an undocumented credit formula.
Treat separate listing variants and combined promotional scenes as distinct production tasks. A merchant may need both, but they should not be represented as interchangeable outputs.
After creation, review every actual file. For individual assets, confirm SKU association. For Group shot, inspect whether the approved products appear together and whether the composition meets the advertisement brief.
The decision concerns Pebblely's current workflow selection, not a promise about generation accuracy or capabilities of another product-image service.
Illustrative Exercise — Output Scope and Product Membership Approval
These are illustrative exercise rows. Save a copy and record your own observations; the example is not an executed acceptance test.
| Fictional request | Selected products | Required output scope | Workflow decision | Expected membership per file | Acceptance check |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A: Three individual product listings | SKU-A, SKU-B, SKU-C | Separate listing assets | Evaluate Generate selected bulk workflow | Each file corresponds to its assigned SKU | Review every generated file and its SKU association |
| B: Three-item promotional gift set | Approved item A, item B, item C | One combined gift-set composition | Evaluate Group shot with Templates or Custom | All three approved items appear together | Verify product membership and overall scene against the brief |

Frequently asked questions
Does selecting three product checkboxes automatically create one gift-set image?
No. Generate selected initiates bulk generation. Choose Group shot when the intended output is a combined scene.
Should I follow Pebblely's older multiple-assets canvas tutorial?
Prefer the current Group shot documentation. The older 2023 canvas tutorial is explicitly marked outdated and should not be treated as the current interface procedure.
