Product videos / QUESTION GUIDE
Is blurred product lettering a motion effect or a changed label?
Inspect the label before, during and after movement. Temporary softness can be a motion effect; a different character that remains after the motion is a fidelity defect. A blur treatment does not recover missing text. Decide whether the footage contains a genuinely readable interval before choosing an edit.
Select three comparison moments
Find a stable opening, the strongest movement and a stable ending in the actual downloaded clip. Compare the same letters and graphic landmarks at useful scale. Do not compare a tiny moving thumbnail with a large still and conclude that the underlying label changed. Match the visible size where practical.
For an illustrative bottle push-in, the first word may soften during the move but become readable afterward. If the ending contains a different word, the problem is more than motion blur. Keep the actual source photograph beside the frame comparisons.
Classify the visible symptom
| Observation | Likely review path | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Same text before and after | Motion softness | Use readable interval if suitable |
| Different text after movement | Temporal alteration | Reject factual label view |
| Soft in every moment | Source or output limitation | Obtain clearer material |
| Only edited export is soft | Export investigation | Compare original file |
The table organizes review, not automatic diagnosis. Several problems can coexist. Record uncertainty when the source does not establish the lettering clearly.
Request movement that preserves the communication job
In Product videos, choose a restrained action when the label must remain readable. Review the storyboard and the approved starting image. Avoid treating a more energetic camera request as an improvement when the clip’s purpose is to identify the exact variant.
Adobe’s blur guidance distinguishes reduced sharpness from recovered detail. That is useful context for external editing; Itemlume does not provide a precise deblur tool or guarantee that every frame retains exact lettering.
Approve a usable interval, not a single lucky frame
Play the selected interval at normal speed with the final captions. The viewer needs enough time to read the information naturally. A one-frame clear label may be useful for a poster image but not for an identification sequence. If an accurate interval does not exist, use another source or regenerate a simpler shot.
Use text-flicker review for changing lettering and export diagnosis for delivery softness. Keep the before/moving/after comparison with the edit decision.

Frequently asked questions
Can deblurring establish missing letters?
Do not treat invented sharpened text as recovered product evidence.
Is one clear frame enough?
Not when viewers need to read the label during playback.
Can blur and label mutation coexist?
Yes. Inspect stable moments and the source separately.
