REFERENCE TROUBLESHOOTING / Product images
How do I show a container gasket without making it look like an extra loose part?
Photograph the gasket in its actual seated location and identify whether it is removable. If a separate view is needed, show the real supported arrangement and explain its role. AI should not duplicate a seated ring as an extra included accessory or invent a groove that the lid does not have.
Identify what the reference actually proves
A dark ring near a lid edge can be mistaken for a shadow, printed trim or a separate accessory. In an exploded-style composition, the generator may place it between unrelated layers or add a second ring for visual balance. The key evidence is the relationship between gasket, seat and lid, not simply the ring’s color or circular shape.
Prepare the evidence before generating
- Identify the exact container and lid variant. Photograph the complete closed item and the actual underside of the lid where appropriate.
- Capture the gasket seat in detail. Record whether removal is supported by the product’s instructions; do not dismantle an item merely to match a visual concept.
- If a genuine separate-part view is available, label it as the same component in another state rather than an additional item included in the box.
- Generate the chosen arrangement and review component count, seated location and assembly relationships before approving the image.
Example creative request and a review matrix
Illustrative request: Show this container and lid with the gasket in its actual referenced seat. Preserve the groove, ring profile and component count. The separate detail explains the same gasket; do not duplicate it as a spare accessory, invent an extra sealing layer or imply removable construction absent from the verified product.
| Observed symptom | Evidence to inspect | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| A seated ring and a second loose ring appear together | Compare the component-role record | Reject an invented spare |
| The groove moves to the wrong face | Inspect the actual lid underside | Reject changed construction |
| A shadow replaces the gasket | Compare the seat detail under clear light | Resolve the layer identity |
Make the release decision
Visual agreement does not prove leak resistance, airtightness or durability. Those are separate claims requiring relevant evidence. Keep a real lid-detail image where the gasket is important to buyers. A generated exploded arrangement should be supplementary and limited to documented components, especially when it could otherwise encourage an unsupported disassembly or imply extra included parts.

Frequently asked questions
Can I show the gasket floating in an exploded diagram?
Only as a clearly explained depiction of the actual supported construction. It should not imply a spare part, removable design or tested sealing capability without evidence.
