REFERENCE TROUBLESHOOTING / Product images
How do I show a vacuum-packed pillow’s delivered and usable shape?
Show the compressed delivered pack and a genuinely prepared usable pillow as different states. Record the actual preparation followed for the photographed example. A generated fluffy pillow should not become the only evidence of its shape, and an unpacking concept should not imply instantaneous recovery.
Identify what the reference actually proves
Compression changes more than apparent thickness: fabric folds, corners and fill distribution can look different after opening. A generator may extrapolate an ideal hotel pillow from a flat pack, concealing the source ambiguity. The buyer’s question is how the item arrives and what a representative prepared item looks like. Neither state alone answers both parts, and a suggested waiting time should not be invented from the image.
Prepare the evidence before generating
- Photograph the actual sealed delivered pack with its packaging identified. Record the pillow variant and any verified preparation instructions.
- Prepare a genuine sample according to the applicable instructions. Photograph its usable state without adding internal supports or extra filling to exaggerate volume.
- Keep the capture sequence and preparation record privately. If recovery varies, consult the responsible seller about representative presentation rather than choosing the fullest possible sample.
- Use the prepared sample as the reference for the usable-state scene. Keep the delivered-pack image separately labeled in the gallery.
Example creative request and a review matrix
Illustrative request: Present this actual prepared pillow on a simple bed scene. Preserve the photographed volume, corner shape, seams and fabric. The compressed package reference explains delivery only; do not combine it into the pillow or invent an instant expansion sequence. Do not increase loft or imply a recovery time absent from verified instructions.
| Observed symptom | Evidence to inspect | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| The pillow doubles in apparent loft | Compare the genuine prepared sample | Reject exaggerated filling volume |
| Packaging folds remain as permanent construction seams | Compare the two documented states | Separate temporary compression from stitching |
| A sequence implies immediate recovery | Check whether actual timing evidence exists | Remove the unsupported time implication |
Make the release decision
The reference records one prepared example, not a firmness, durability or recovery benchmark. Keep written preparation guidance sourced and current. If the seller has no representative usable-state photograph, capture one before generating styled room images. Clear state labels can reduce confusion without hiding the compressed pack or promising that every customer’s preparation will look identical.

Frequently asked questions
Can I generate the expanded pillow directly from the sealed package?
You can explore a concept, but it cannot establish the usable shape of the actual product. Obtain a real prepared-sample reference for a sale image.
